Four Tet is another one that we very rarely get in the shop (or anything by kieran hebden for that matter) but we have here his ninth studio album, and probably my favourite of his, ‘New Energy’! Taking a more folktronica approach this time, similar to his very early projects, the neo-classic, new-age melodies & synth chords of ‘New Energy’ is where Four Tet really stands out. Specifically on ‘Lush’ and ‘Two Thousand and Seventeen’, 2 absolute classics!
